Ganjamule, thanks for your "well-informed email" LOL Other facts you need to get right are: Jay1967 is an ID that represents me on YOUTUBE ONLY, I don't own and have never had any association with this ID outside YouTube, so any searches you may have done on it (apart from YouTube of course) will not represent me in any shape or form. Anyway, have a nice day!Jay1967
Ganjamule.. If you'd bothered to read the comments on my 'front cover instruction video of the Active 10' you would have seen the reason I decided not to do a review of the machine. Before opening your stupid mouth try READING the facts first, Arse hole! In fact your so stupid that if you had a brain you'd be fucking dangerous!Jay1967
It is at the moment, but Satmap say that they will be expanding the mapping range as time goes on.I bought myself a Satmap and wasnt initially impressed. The main problem i had was short battery life but since i installed the new free upgrade the batteries last far longerdue to better power management and it now works like a dream.1SHAZ1
is it UK only??Zedith
Still waiting for your amazing review. All mouth. What a cunt.Ganjamule
Jay1967,mate i like the cut of ya jib,the only reason i got memory map is my cousin bought it im not paying that much money for MM knowing some people ripped it from the net for free,at least my garmin is as straight as a die.lolaudiofreeq
You made the right choice.. I 2 use a 60CSX with the UK topographic on a 2Gb card. I sent my SatMap back, it just wasnt up to par.. the Garmin far exceeds it in many ways. Thought not OS mapping, the UK topo inherits 1:25 gradients, so does a quite a good job for the money.Jay1967
chears mate but since i wrote that,i got memory map.all the maps 50,25,aerial.n so on,i now use a garmin gps map60csx with the whole of the uk in topographic on a 2 gig card, and built a hand generator usb power supply out of a wind up torch. oh yea its not the best review,it raises more questions than it answers.audiofreeq
if u want all the uk @ 1:25k mapping, its gonna cost you around £5000 Plus! and a whole bunch of SD cards! 1:50k is pretty impressive! and £165 for all UK.Jay1967
Careful Jay, that's 'one of the most influential voices in gear testing for over a decade' you're talking about there LOL!!! This video is as bad as his magazine review...great big picture of him and his red jacket and barely any evidence to show he's even turned the thing on.RobS1972
hehe, someone can't use the internet and feels the need to post twice. NA NA nee na na. Sorry I know what your saying though, it was not very good. Does anyone know if/when/where the Magellan Triton 2000 will be avaliable in the UK?cjeam9199
Crap review, crap video quality.. looking at the satmap website is far more informative. Cant stand these twats that show the bloody obvious; and those product unpacking reviews make me laugh. Im thinking of getting one of these, and if I do, I'll do a proper review and you'll see SCREENSHOTS, CAPABILITIES and stuff you just dont get from a still photograph! Oh and I wont film it on a bloody mobile phone!Jay1967

Mmm...so we see the box in action but not the Active 10. Sit yourself down at a picnic table, place the camera on the table between you and the unit and film it as you go through all the features and show us what it does.RobS1972
slightly scary at the end hahaguyveegee
