UP 1988 through Hutch......
December 4th was quite a day indeed, I get a call from another railfan up in a town East of me, and he informs me that the MKT Heritage, 1988 is coming west. I asked my dad if we could go really fast and get there, but nope LOL. So I was forced to listen to 1988 go by over the phone, and from over the scanner. Sorry for the language...I was pissed

For the cursing, I cuss all the damn time. There I go again. LOL the cussing is no problem I'm sure George Bush cusses and you don't see people complaining about that so why should they you? LOL.
That's what I thought but sometimes they pop out of nowhere on christmas. I hope tomorrow something interesting show's up for you down there on the La Junta or the Herrington. maby tommorow will be a busy day on the salina sub.
Not to brag or anything but I've seen her 3 different times on the Herrington Sub Twice it was acompanied by 1982 and the third it was on halloween of 06 which was also great because I saw my first BNSF h3 the third it was the last unit of three on an eastbound intermodal.
man that sucks. but hey i was 30 mins late for my job back in the 90s so i could see a BNSF special go by with the BN F units and passenger cars. later that year the F units were donated to the RR museum in IL. that was the only time i think they ever came to emporia ks. i have it on video.
Dude, why didn't you jus'get in the car and go, what kind of a railfan are you. When a special train comes through, you pull out all the stops and go for it, you have to do what you have to do!
