CNW #411 at the IRM

The CNW Bi-level commuter train, pulled by CNW #411, runs at the Illinois Railway Museum on 10/06/07. Near the end of the video, you get to see a rare treat: Union Pacific C40-8's #9052 and #9033 running light on the old C&NW line.

That is for HEP. I belive it is a Cummins or CAT power plant providing the HEP.2GUNBOY

Am sooo curious, where was that taken at? My gosh surely gives me memories on riding this train when I was younger! The 9 hour ride from Chicago to Rhinelander! Look at the fresh paint ! :Dfreakylaurent
The engineer of CNW #411, told me that the third CNW bi-level was in the shop. They still use Metra F7 #308.2GUNBOY
I thought they had 3 CNW Bi level cars not just 2. I also remember wen they used the metra engine instead of the CNW engine to pull those cars. I wonder wat they used the metra engine they have.SonysPup
