| Exactly LOL this dumbass doesn't know what he is talking about! LOL :) | NSwannabeEngineer |
| exactly, it is a gevo | CoastStarlight11 |
| Dude it is a Gevo with a K5LA. | NSwannabeEngineer |
| according to George Elwood's fallen flag website, 5235 is a ES44DC | balddanny72 |
| was that K5LLA horn used on a SD70ACe and that is not a GEVO it is actully a C45ACCTECW or an AC6000CW. that is the first time I have seen CSX opreating with UP they are mostly on BNSF in Fullerton. | skifool10 |
| Nice! | CoastStarlight11 |
| Yes. | Caltrain927 |
| You have seen Illinois Central & Canadian Power in Nevada as well? | CoastStarlight11 |
| You're not alone. | Caltrain927 |
| I actually saw an Illinois Central Engine & a Canadian Pacific engine way out in the vast northern Nevada desert. However they were not leading. | CoastStarlight11 |
| I've seen some Canadian National (CN) engines in Austell before. That's about the rarest I've seen this far south. | DJGENEX71 |
| yep. This probably is the rar'est thing I have ever seen in my entire life of railfanning. | CoastStarlight11 |
| I'd say this is more rare to see out your way than the NS engines. The NS engines could get out there by UP or BNSF. Great video! 5***** | DJGENEX71 |
| Thanks. It is CSX 5235. Quite a rare site to see in northern Nevada. | CoastStarlight11 |
| oh sweet i like this. what was the number on this csx gevo. i likes that k5la. | NS2622 |
| No way. Even rarer to see this as far west as northern Nevada. Dang I got lucky when I shot the vid of this thing. | CoastStarlight11 |
| That GEVO has a K5LA instead of a K5HL! Only a few CSX ES44DC's got the K5LA, so this is a rare find. | Caltrain927 |
| Very nice. Yea you can search my youtube account for "BNSF" stuff will come up like vids I shot in the Tehacaphi Mountains and at the famous Tehacaphi Loop. I have not been out railfanning since November of 2007. Been so busy at work. | CoastStarlight11 |
| Sweet! i love BNSF, so if you have vids of BNSf, I'll be physced! And btw, I seen a CSX Sd70MAC today with a GEVO horn on the way home from school. | NsRailfan083 |
| Interesting. Since I live in the west this is the first and only CSX GEVO that I have seen in person. I have seen a hand full of NS engines as well but I mainly see UP, BNSF, & Amtrak. | CoastStarlight11 |
| The GEVO's I've seen have K5LH23R's. kinda wierd. | NsRailfan083 |
| It has a sweet sounding CSX east coast horn. The Union Pacific GEVOS have compleatly different sounding horns than the CSX GEVO's have. | CoastStarlight11 |
| It IS a gevo, but where is it's horn? | NsRailfan083 |
