Altoona Railfest 08' Here is the last NS freight, 23W, powering WB up the grade rounding out this awesome trip up to Horseshoe Curve. SD70M-2 2722 leads a CW40-8 as they pull another stack train up the mountain. Plenty of horn action from the engineer on 2722's K5LA. Also the Pennsy E8's are seen rolling WB slowly overtaking 23W on their 3rd and final trip of the day. E8A 5809 is again leading E8A 5711 with some light horn action on 5809's K3LA from the engineer. "The Curve," provided another day pleasure and excitement as I hope to make it up there again soon for another awesome railfan expedition..!!
