| Sharks and trains....havnt heard of either leaping out of their environment and killing anybody..but someone gets ate by a shark in the water off the beach, the shark must die, someone gets grounded up into metloaf metal going around some cross bucks and the engineer gets 2 piss in a cup with a magnifying glass up his ass... | stevefromPA |
| Operation Lifesaver is an education program where trains travel around and their crews and others on board teach people how to act safely around railroad tracks. Most of what they teach is probably simple common sense, but a lot of children, teens and even adults lack that as far as train safety is concerned. | decline2state |

| Dude its RAW video which means its un edited. so get over it. If you can do better than more power to ya but how much video from the cab of the CSX F40's have you seen? | CSX700 |
| ok thanks for clarifying that for me. | skyav8r |
| skyav8r, a train is on a fixed path. Standing near the tracks is a LOT less dangerous than standing on a curb where cars, trucks and buses can veer off course at any moment and mow you down. I haven't heard of any trains derailing lately and mowing someone down who was standing 5-10 feet from the rails. People are just more dramatic about standing near a train because it's so big and intimidating. It's less dangerous to stand 5-10 feet from a train than on a busy street corner. | JTinGR |
| that was answering JTinGR's question, btw. | skyav8r |
| well how many people have you hit while driving a car, truck or bus???? Bet you can stop alot faster in your car, truck or bus than we can with a couple of dash 9's and 25,000 tons of coal. | skyav8r |
| I wish all conductors would stay alert and attentive like that fellow. No Sleepy Head there. Good Job Mr. Conductor!!!! | skyav8r |
| Nice video Thank you | amtrakatsfnyc |
| I agree with you Veronica. But passenger train operation is so heavily burdened with liabilities and headaches, add to that it's generally a money losing proposition. Hence, that's why the we have Amtrak. At least now there is more support for it. | ACLTony |
| The engineer is absolutely right that if something happens to someone of the track at the crossing, the crew can't do anything. Although, nice video! | conrail4101 |
| nice vid. that guy wasn't that dumb I n'joy standing close. not when the trains doing 60mph | Espeelover |
| "what a dumbass at 307" Why is he a dumbass? How is that any different from people standing curbside when cars, trucks and buses are flying by? | JTinGR |
| Ah, I wish railroads would still run passenger trains. CSX's paint job looks so COOL on the F40's. | veronicafanDA |
