How to sidewalk usher style (usherwalk)
This is a tutorial of me doing the sidewalk and a clip of me and my friend from the video my friend posted awhile back. This is different from the style MJ does, this style, your leg crosses over your other leg alittle more to make a further slide. Hope this will help whoever want to learn this slick move. Comments welcome, (please no dissing, we aint great dancers). Rate if you like.

I never said anyone needs to ask permission to do Mike's moves. My point was that Usher looked kind of silly trying to do them with Mike actually on the stage, as he can do them better. It's just my own personal opinion.
lol Godzilla61787 that would be stupid if you need permission from mj to do his "dance moves" thats just like saying you shouldn't be bboying unless the bboy inventors give u permission
why shouldn't he perform them with mike.
i think that moment where mj and usher danced on stage together was beautiful.
it was a tribute.
MJ is a fan of usher's, and mj is usher's idol. In that performance, usher came out doing moves inspired by mj, wore an mj t-shirt, proclaimed mj as the king of pop and rock, and stopped mid-way through his performance to allow mj to dance. complete and utter respect for his idol.
i dont know why mj fans get so touchy, when mj himself clearly isn't.
Yeah Michael himself admits to not inventing hardly any of his moves completely. If you watch a lot of MJ vids you may see me comment on how Usher should never dance with MJ, as he tried to do in "You Rock My World" live in 2001. Usher can do them now and this generation thinks they are good moves, and as far as that is concerned they are, but he or anyone should never ever try to do them WITH Mike in my opinion. I am heavily biased though, as MJ is by far my favorite artist :)
Oh yeah he definitely made them his own and is a hardcore perfectionist, just making a point to some other MJ fans who seem to think he invented and owns everything, and that no one else like Usher is allowed to perform these moves, that's all.
Okay, I'm a big MJ fan, but what is with people calling the glide "MJ's move"? All MJ did is make street dance famous, they are not his moves. Everything, moonwalk (backslide), glide, 4 corner moonwalk, robot.... everything he did is from the streets. MJ even says this himself. The dances belong to everyone, including Usher, it's not fair to just call them MJ's.
The only move MJ invented was the groin grab.
Since when? Jeffery Daniel taught Michael the backslide. The media called it the "moonwalk". Just because it has a different name doesn't make it another dance.
Jeffery picked up the backslide from the streets and then enhanced it. MJ saw him do it on Soul Train and then paid Jeffery to teach it to him.
Then years later Michael enhanced it even further than Jeffery. But that doesn't mean he invented it.
